Gift

What gift can I give you
that would make me worthy in your eyes
No cherrished possession seems fit
and no fiscal toy would suffice
I could give you words of favour
and know from here they would be lies
Or I could joke and play and pretend
my cats would clean your appartment of mice

What gift can I gave you
that would make me deserving of your grace
No thing that I make nor word I say
could justice nor would agree
If a thing for sure I could find
I would give it to you with a pace
All I have and all I am is what I can give you
Me
