Is he invisible?
We can see where he has been
He leaves behind a watermark
And shiny new things to see
But where can he be?
Is he lost in the dark?

Eric can't be heard
Is he mute?
We can guess he's a nerd
But what do we really know?
Your guess is like mine
His work seems quite fine
Tho' there's not much to show

Eric can't be smelt
Is he odurless?
But we get a wiff and a hint
Of the stuff he is working on
We know he's good
Working from behind his hood
But has he gone?

Does Eric exist?
I know he does
I have seen his picture
And the words he has written
I've seen what he's drawn
But he's not on my lawn
Or in my kitchen

I can't find him anywhere
But he must be about
He can't be nowhere
Everyone has their place
Perhaps Eric's is outer space
Can we visit him there?
