Auditorium of the Giants

I walk upon this hallowed ground,
My footsteps touch upon the hall of champions,
I'm filled with the history and of quiet sound,
My spine shivers and my neck hair quivers.

Here is the grass all burnt away,
Beyond here the trees where it ended up,
The patch of oil from the engine bay,
A close call where Dumbreck lost it all.

There is the control tower a famous landmark,
The garages below where the dance is performed,
Nostalgia strikes and lights my heart with spark,
This is the place where they hold the race.

One week before the gladiators performed,
Now the circus has left and it's our turn,
A smaller crowd on the banks adorned,
But i'll give them a show when the lights go.

This is the auditorium of the titan realm,
How lucky I am to race in this place,
Now it's time to strap on my helm,
To rewrite the history all about me.
