So What's all this About Beckyworld?

I decided my last web site needed an overhaul. At the time that I wrote the original site some years ago I was experimenting with some interesting techniques, and my focus was on exploring just those techniques.

I can't deny that I miss the fancy swish effects and the way the site seemlessly loaded up new content, but this approach was not Google friendly.

For a while now I have toyed with the idea of having a blog which I have done before and even had a small readership of technophiles, but back then I was not a web programmer and creating the articles was a pain in the neck and I stopped.

Anyway, to cut the story short I decided I missed the sound of my own typing so much that I would blog again, so here it is, my blog.

I've revamped every area of the site to be more google friendly and I hope you like it.

I do hope to do more things, I plan a "Twitterati" section where I hope to do some interesting Twitter related things, and at some point I will add more features to the blog itself.

Currently you cannot comment on the articles, I wanted it this way for now because I don't want to have to moderate the posts from spam bots and because if I give you the chance to answer back you might tell me i'm crazy and I already know this, ultimately i'll allow them - but I want to have a wider readership before I do so.

The email subscription does not send automated emails yet, I don't plan to send any for a while as I need to build up the site content with frequent articles first - but you can subscribe and when I write the system you'll start getting the emails.
